Description
During 1943, Union Cutlery produced these “Ka-Bar” fighting knives that lacked the branch of service markings on the blade. They just had the KA-BAR maker mark. It’s entirely possible that both the Marines and Navy bought these but this example is U.S. Marine Corps issue all the way with due to the unmarked, staple leather scabbard. This knife has a fantastic blade and compared to most is above average in regards to condition. The leather handle and scabbard have the soldiers detailed initials that were added by them. Great looking fighting knife that is WWII issue all the way!
