Incredible, and extremely rare example of a Waffen-SS 22nd Cavalry Division “Maria Theresia” collar tab as worn by Officers. Extremely high quality embroidery of the division emblem on black doeskin wool. Never used in a uniform, this stone mint example is as nice as they come. Hands down one of the rarest collar tabs to find in regards to SS insignia!
Note – These collar tabs were used by officers of the 22nd SS Volunteer Cavalry Division “Maria Theresia” since May 1944 until the end of World War II. The division was composed primarily of Royal Hungarian Army conscripts who were transferred to the Waffen-SS following an agreement between Germany and Hungary.
