Great and rarely found example of an early 1st pattern Luftwaffe breast eagle as worn by Enlisted Men and NCO’s. Also known as the “drooptail” eagle, these were phased out before the war started for the more conmen example we know now. Nice embroidery on top of a dark blue wool backing!
