Description
Textbook example of a Dachau made collar tab with the double-armed Swastika. This tab was originally to be worn by the Wehrmacht transferees only, in June 1944 the decision was made to have all concentration camp staff and guard personnel whether permanent full SS members or temporary draftees/transferees wear the tab, restricting wear of the traditional “death’s head” collar patches to personnel of the Totenkopf-Division only. Great tab with sharp embroidery to the front, the reverse has some moth nips to the bukrum. All and all a stellar example of a very collectible piece of insignia!
