Very nice period worn example of the cloth version of the German Cross in Gold (DKIG). This example shows the field grey wool edging as worn by Heer (Army) and Waffen-SS men. This example shows some nips to the wool edge from being sewn to the uniform, the reverse shows the original backing paper that is nicely marked by the manufacture (Hermann Schmuck & Cie), very nice example!
