Description
Amazing and rarely found uniform removed example of a sleeve shield worn by members in the Wehrmacht who were volunteers from Armenia. Textbook bevo construction with clear signs of being worn and removed from a uniform. Great piece of insignia!
Note – In 1942 an identifying sleeve shield for members of the Armenien legion was introduced. The Armenian sleeve shield utilized the colors of the Independent Armenian Republic which was only in existence from 1918 to 1920.
