Description
Heer (Army) printed on cloth sleeve-shield as intended for a volunteer within the ‘Bergkaukasien’ Legion (Ärmelschild). In 1942 an identifying sleeve shield for members of the North Caucasian (Bergkaukasien) legion was introduced. The patch is showing a blue shield shaped base with in yellow a roundel with three horse heads below the script “Bergkaukasien”. The shield is nicely printed on a yellow linen background. The shield is in good mint and unissued condition showing only some minor staining caused by years of storage. Nice original example!
