Textbook example of a uniform removed Waffen-SS Officer rank tab. With 3 rank pipes, this would be held by a member with the rank of Untersturmführer (Lieutenant.) Clear signs of being attached to a uniform at one time. This piece recently came in a large group of veteran brought back insignia.
