Description
Fantastic, textbook example of a Waffen-SS belt buckle as worn by Enlisted Men and Non Commissioned Officer’s. Steel construction with zinc layer added before the silver paint was done. Great detail on the front, no damage to the reverse hardware. The buckle is produced by Overhoff& Cie., this example is much more uncommon than their non marked examples, the reverse shows the markings “RZM 36/42 SS” this indicates it was produced by Overhoff “36” in the year 1942 “42”. A very sought after buckle here often missing from most collections!
