Description
This is an extremely uncommon set of U.S insignia, consisting of a period worn Type 6 101st Airborne Division Shoulder patch commonly seen on D-Day related jump jackets, and an VERY RARE U.S Made WWII production 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment “Widow Makers” pocket patch. The patch is a winged, grinning skull on a parachute and has red, white and blue concentric borders, produced on a black twill. The 502nd had a serious combat history. Many of the regiment members even wore their pocket patches into combat! These are textbook in every way, hands down a very sought after set.
