Description
Very early pre-RZM era SA ‘Sturmabteilung’ belt buckle executed in fine brass. Made of a two piece construction with riveted insignia plate, the buckles reverse is void of maker marks. This buckle is the smaller version for a small width belt. This is a very early belt buckle, circa early 1930’s. Some say these small early examples were for the first Hitler Youth members, this is due to the NSDAP- HitlerJugend organization was formed in 1926 and was overseen by the SA.
