Beautiful example of a 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class. This cross has a three piece construction with an iron core. The cross is nicely maker marked with the Imperial Meybauer logo, indicating production by the company of Paul Meybauer, Berlin. The pin and catch are in good functional condition with no damage or repairs. The reverse also shows an engraved name from the original wearer!
