Description
Great example of a light weight Type A-9 flight helmet as worn by pilots and flight crew members of the U.S. Army Air Force during World War 2 for hot weather where heavy leather helmets were not needed. The helmet is lightly worn and nicly marked with manufacture tag. There is also an original period pair of flight goggles produced by the Luxor Airex company. Original flight helmets with goggles are starting to become more and more sought after, and this set displays fantastic!
