Description

This is an amazing example of a 100% inert World War 2 era Mk II grenade as used during the war by U.S. troops. This example has not been repainted, it still shows the flat dull paint with yellow band on the neck by the fuse. The fuse is a true WWII era M10A2 example with the original pin. These examples are very hard to find these days, most encountered are post war example with 1950’s era fuses. A true original WWII era example! Great for a display case, or a mannequin looking for that extra touch.

Note – The Mk 2 grenade (initially known as the Mk II), also nicknamed the Pineapple is a fragmentation-type anti-personnel hand grenade introduced by the U.S. armed forces in 1918. It was the standard issue anti-personnel grenade used during World War II for all U.S personnel.
