Amazing, unrestored, totally original poster with a very clean overall appearance. This poster was printed in 1943 and features the art of Barbara Marks. Known as (OWI Poster No. 76) this piece features an iconic and chilling image of a swastika-clad Nazi arm holding a K98 bayonet, which is stabbed through Holy Bible. Text at bottom reads “This Is The Enemy.” This is the smaller more displayable of the two sizes issued measuring 20″ x 28.5″ the bottom of the poster reads – OWI Poster- No. 76, Additional copies may be obtained upon request from the Division of Public Inquiries, office of War Information, Washington D.C., U.S. Government Printing Office: 1943-O-533688. Originally folded as issued, poster shows some light handling wear but the colors remain bold and the poster is very clean. If framed, this would display excellent!
