Description
Here we have a fantastic pre-war decorated 4 pocket service blouse for an NCO with the rank of Feldwebel in Heer (Army) Medical. Made of high quality trikot wool and lined in light grey polished cotton, with integral provision for wear with sword. The blouse has two upper pleated patch pockets and two lower slash pockets, both French cuffs are intact and undamaged. The padded litzen are “general branch” gray color. The upper edges of the collar have hand applied metallic rank NCO tress, the sewn in shoulder boards are piped in blue wool indicating service in a Medical regiment, each has machine applied metallic NCO tress to match the collar and 1 rank pip in each one showing the NCO rank of Feldwebel. The shoulder the national emblem is a beautiful, high quality bullion Officer quality eagle on dark green backing and is originally hand sewn. The left breast pocket has loops for one award and then bellow it another set for a 2nd award. The buttons are the finished silver type and overall the blouse is very clean, one button has been re-sewn where the belt is worn which is very common. Inside lining is a bit yellowed from wear, but for an early set like this it is very clean.
