Stellar example of a Luftwaffe pilot badge by Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid. Tombak construction with riveted tombak eagle. Maker marked on the reverse with the Deumer maker mark. Variant with middle “key hole” cut out. Very good condition, colors nicely present with a stunning looking overall patina. Tombak rivets in tight condition. No repairs, no damage, the badge comes in its very correct Deumer produced case. The case is complete and fully functional with light signs of wear. For many the best looking bird out there!
