Description
Absolutely incredible and rare set of Heer (Army) M40 shoulder boards piped in lime green for Panzergrenadier, these alone are very uncommon. The original straps have regimental loops chain-stitched 115, this would indicate these straps were worn by a member of the 15th Panzer Division/115th Panzer Grenadier Regiment. These straps show serious period wear and even a few spots that appear to be blood. These would be perfect for a uniform replacement, or even to simply display on their own merits.
Note – The 33rd Infantry Division (German: 33. Infanterie-Division) was a German Army infantry division active in World War II. It served in the battle of France as well as the battle of Monte Casino and subsequently was converted into the 15th Panzer Division.
