Recently found in a group of German veteran paperwork was these 3 books. Starting left to right, the first book is a very early book about the Czechoslovakia Army, this would have been issued to the earliest of Wehrmacht troops who participated in the occupation of Czechoslovakia. On the inside cover there is a property stamp for the enlisted man’s library of Gebirgsjäger-Bataillon Lenggries (Mountain Troop Battalion in Lenggries, a town located in Bravaria, Germany.) A very rare book to come across, especially in near mint condition, there is also the addition of a book of stamps located on the inside of the book. The middle book has seen better days and has a detached cover that is still present, this is one of the most common types of issued song books soldiers would have been given. The final book on the right would have been issued to the Wehrmacht troops who took place in the invasion of France, it is a dictionary on how to translate words for German soldiers in the French language. It is in fantastic condition and a very uncommon issued book to find. The artwork is very attractive to the eye showing a German soldier reading the book.
All of these were found together and I would like to keep them together, 2 of the 3 are very uncommon examples to find, and they are in fantastic shape!
