Incredible and rarely seen matched set of SS-Regiment “Der Führer“ shoulder board ciphers. Tombac stamped “DF” construction with soldered on prongs. Gold was indicating use for an Officer. No damage or repairs to the prongs. Just an incredibly rare set of SS insignia here!
Note – The SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment “Der Führer” (alternatively known as SS-Standarte “Der Führer” or 4th SS Panzer-Grenadier Regiment “Der Führer”) was one of the most highly decorated and active infantry regiments of the Waffen-SS during World War II. Formed in 1938 primarily from Austrian recruits following the Anschluss, the regiment served as a key component of the 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich.
