Description
Very rare and hardly encountered piece of German/Japanese Alliance propaganda. This pin was made to celebrate the arrival of German ambassadors and military officials to Tokyo in 1940 after Germany and Japan made an alliance to one another. This piece is Japanese made and has enamel over the front with no major damage or repairs. The reverse pin is also undamaged. The top reads “welcome” in German, I have yet to have the bottom Japanese writing translated. No doubt pieces like this are very scarce to come across!
