Description
Very uncommon manufacture to find in regards to early aluminum buckles. This Heer (Army) EM/NCO buckle still has it’s original leather tab, dated 1937 with the manufacture name (B. Haarmann, Lüdenscheid). This company is known for their later period steel buckles, this is the first time I have come across one myself. Unlike most early buckles we find, this aluminum buckle still retains much of the original green paint. Typically these are stripped down from field wear/cleaning to their bright under aluminum color. No damage or repairs with very harp details, great example!
