Description

Look Fantastic and rarely found example of a funeral wreath by a member of the NSBO. The NSBO was the Nazi Party’s factory cell structure used to infiltrate workplaces and displace traditional trade unions between 1931 and 1935, before it was absorbed into Robert Ley’s German Labour Front (DAF). This example showing the very early NSBO emblem sewn to the red field. This example would’ve been longer with the members name, though often than not most would discard the name and keep the emblem. Sashes of this type were manufactured to adorn funeral floral wreaths and biers to honor deceased members, local functionaries, or important political figures.

Note – the NSBO existed independently as a distinct organization for only a short window (actively prominent from 1933 to 1935), surviving uniform pieces, flags, and funeral sashes or roundels are exceptionally scarce.
