Description
The padded cloth Fallschirmjäger jump badge (Fallschirmschützenabzeichen) was a cloth-embroidered version of the official German WWII paratrooper qualification award, designed to be worn on flight blouses and jump smocks instead of the heavier metal badge. This is a textbook embroidered example with padded backing, much more uncommon than its standard cloth backed counterpart. Great piece of insignia!
