Description
A “Gauleitung” (Gau) collar tab. Tab is construction on a red velvet base, with dark red rayon piping. Collar tabs features a national eagle clutching a wreathed, static swastika in its talons, as worn between 1939-45. Beneath the eagle are four gilt washed alloy political rank pips. This combination of pips indicates a “GemeinschaftsLeiter” ( Community Leader) rank at the Gauleitung “Gau” level. The reverse still has the original RZM paper tag as well. Truly a fantastic piece of period worn insignia to one of the higher of ranks in the Nazi Party.
