Description
Very nice field worn example of a Heer (Army) M34 overseas cap for an Officer in a Pioneer unit. The front insignia consists of a bullion cocarde and a flatwire Army eagle, both of which are period sewn, the front also shows the strip of branch colors which is a faded black for Pioneer units. The interior shows nice wear and a thick stain around the inside that was used as a type of water/sweat resistor, the cap is marked inside for the large size of 58. One of the vent holes is missing, other than this the cap has a great look, these examples with black piping for Pioneer units are one of the hardest colors to find!
