Description
An extremely well-preserved Heer (Army) short dress bayonet as worn by Enlisted Men/Non Commissioned Officer for formal/parade occasions. Virtually mint with no dings in the scabbard which retains nearly all of the original black paint. The grips are unchipped and without any cracks or repairs. The blade has no running marks, nicks, or any other sharpening or damage. The blade fights nice and tight in the scabbard, truly a perfect example. The red felt plug in the rifle slot guide indicates wear by someone in an Artillery unit.
