Description
German WWII “canteen rings” (Kantine ringe) were privately purchased, non-official silver, iron, or alloy rings featuring skull and crossbones (Totenkopf) motifs, helmets, and other Front related words that German soldiers and SS members bought at military canteens or local jewelers. This example shows a standard silver ring with a helmet (stelhelm), standard type all members of the Wehrmacht wore. The inside is silver marked 800, great detail!
