Recently found out of a well known D.A.K (Deutsch Afrika Korps) collection was an array of German WWII period campaign rings, these rings were made by in country suppliers all throughout the war and worn by the men who fought in these campaigns. This example is as nice as they come with sharp details, the front showing an African village with palm tree. This ring shows the palm tree image with the year date 1943 on one side, and the other shows the German spelling for Africa reading “Afrika.” Sharp details and textbook in every way from the period, these campaign rings for the Afrika Korps are always sought after, and highly collectable.
