Fantastic, uniform removed example of an early 1st SS-Panzer Division ‘LSSAH’ (Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler) cuff title for officers. Very fine hand-embroidered officer cuff title with silver-metallic bullion reading ‘Adolf Hitler‘ name on a black field with 7 strain silver border to the upper and lower edges. The cuff was period worn and removed from a uniform, still full length which is great to see. The reverse black cloth backing is missing, often seen on period worn/removed cufftitles. Excellent overall condition, there is no oxidation, and very detailed.
Note: This example is the so-called first form hand-embroidered title. The Adolf Hitler name beautifully executed with just a bit more quality compared to later examples.
