Description
Ok This 1st Model Luftwaffe is an early, initial production example. It is equipped with all nickel mounts and still remains in pretty nice condition. The pommel and cross guard are fitted with the brass sun wheel swastikas, showing wear to the original silvering between the legs of the swastika, the cross guard is also regimental marked. The scabbard is solid throughout with no damage or dents, the faux Moroccan blue leather looks perfect. The blade overall rates perfect with no sharpening, bends or damage, the needle tip is untouched. Near the hilt we see the makers mark for Paul Weyersberg & Co., Solingen. Perfect example of an early Luftwaffe 1st model dagger!
