Description
Beautiful example of a very early Luftwaffe four pocket service tunic. High quality wool has no major holes or repairs, the yellow collar insignia as well as the yellow shoulder board insignia (yellow would indicate service in the Flight Branch) is still period attached and the inside lining shows the tailor’s manufacturing tag which would indicate this uniforms production date to very early during the Third Reich period. The inside pocket shows the original soldiers name as well as a last name tag. The inside lining also shows several regimental markings, the main marking is the 1935 date with the mark if (L.K.K.III) with the date 1935. This would indicate service in 1935 with the Luftkreis-Kommando III. Just a fantastic uniform with tons of character, if this one could tell you all about it’s service history, it would be one great story!
