Description
This DAF Visor Cap is a nice, complete example. This pattern of headgear was part of the uniform for members of the German national trade organization, during the Third Reich. The exterior is made from an attractive blue wool with a fine nap. The cap band has a beautiful, woven brocade appearance as was standard on these. The patent leather chin cord and visor are intact and complete without any damage. The front of this cap features a really nice example of the DAF cap emblem. The metal frame is free of corrosion and retains virtually all of the original finish, and the Bevo woven DAF emblem is perfect. This DAF Visor Cap is lined with a blue ribbed rayon fabric. The original celluloid sewatshield with the large DAF gear and swastika logo is still present, though it has split down the middle some, other than this the cap is mint!
