Sharp, and attractive example of a 1939 Iron cross 1st Class (EK1) by Rudolf Souval, Wien. Three part construction with magnetic, iron core. Unmarked, textbook Souval cross set up. Very good condition with minor signs of age. The frame has a layer of patina, but is in perfect condition. The core is also dark and undamaged! This cross comes in a black EK1 box with EK1 silhouette on the domed lid. The case remains in good condition and is complete, but it doesn’t close, regardless this set displays great and is in it’s correct case. The cross is in very good condition, which is rare with Souval crosses.
