Very rare piece to find, especially now a days is this Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) pilot grouping. This set includes an great photo album with occupation photos as well as some great photos of the original pilot and other men in their flight gear. The album is in worn shape but still displays great, some photos have Japanese kanji writing under them, as well as the pilots name written on the last cover. The front of the album shows the silver metallic flight emblem as well as regiment numbers. The album was also found together with the mans original leather flight helmet, this flight helmet shows period wear, but no damage or repairs. The inside rabbit fur is still full an intact, I believe this to be the flight helmet worn in the photos! Fantastic piece of WWII period Japanese aviation related items.
