Description
Stunning black Allgemeine SS visor cap in light worn condition. Complete with original SS skull ‘Totenkopf’ and eagle on the front being early pieces executed in Cupal. The skull is a very rare piece made by Assmann, the eagle is an early example marked M1/8 made by Ferdinand Wagner, the eagle is missing one prong on the back, but firmly attached. Just as the skull it’s also executed in Cupal material with silver finish on top, that was partially worn off. The inside shows period wear and some small stitching detached from sweatband. I can not stress how rare the skull on this visor is, a fantastic cap ready for display!
