Description
Excellent example of a die struck blue steel Luftwaffe belt buckle worn by EM/NCO. The maker Herman Aurich of Dresden is the manufacture of this buckle. Complete with the uncommon black leather marked tab with Aurich makers mark and the date of 1942. The center of the reverse of the buckle also has the Aurich makers mark. This would have been one of the last few buckle with leather tab as they were shortly phased out around 1943. This is a top mid war buckle with majority of the blue paint remaining, and a nice soft supple leather keeper. The bottom of buckle has a slight bend, but nothing terrible.
