Great example of a 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class (EK2) as produced by Klein & Quenzer. The frame beading remains crisp. This appealing cross is complete with its original suspension ring, which is maker marked with the PKZ code “65” for the firm of Klein & Quenzer in Idar/Oberstein. K&Q were one of the firms tasked with making the Knight’s Cross as well. This Iron Cross 2nd Class is complete with a correct red, white and black ribbon that shows signs of being sewn in the button hole before, nice looking cross!
