Stellar example of a 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class by C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim. Three piece construction with magnetic, iron core. Maker marked with the PK code “20” on the reverse of the pin. Very good condition, probably never issued piece in its 80+ years original patina. The reverse hardware has no damage or repairs. Complete in an original earlier style iron cross box. Premium and rarely encountered set!
