Description

Fantastic worn example of an early shoulder-board worn by a member in the Allgemeine-SS. This example shows clear signs of being period worn with much of the sewn in thread from the tunic still remaining. This pattern of SS shoulder board was used for enlisted and NCO ranks, from SS-Mann through SS-Hauptscharführer. This early SS lower rank shoulder board features black and silver piping affixed to a backing that is covered with black wool. A very nice representative example of an early piece of uniform removed SS insignia.
