Description
Fantastic example of an unissued/mint flight helmet as worn by members of the Royal Canadian Air Force and other British Commonwealth Air Forces. The leather is very soft and supple as well as the suade lining. The inside is clearly manufacture marked with the date of 1943. This example was made from the RAF “Type B” but without Bennett buckles and ear flaps for electronic head sets. Fantastic example of a seldom seen piece of World War 2 flight headgear.
