Description
Genuine and well-preserved alloy made, 24 inch Reichsbahn locomotive/wagon eagle. Shows sharp details and has a very nice patina on the front. The back still has its dirty aluminum look and shows all of it metal studs (4) present. It is maker marked by PS for Bernhard Pinter, Schwelm it is also marked on the reverse with LOK 600 GAL-Mg-Si and a bit lower with LOK RZA5-BLN. The reverse also has the original label from the soldier who liberated the eagle which reads the date and location in Belgium where he picked it up! Rarely encounter railroad eagle, a must have as centerpiece for any WW2 collection!
