Description
One of the most visually attractive items in regards to World War 2 collectibles, are the signed battle flags carried by Japanese soldiers during the war. This example produced in an artificial type silk/cotton material shows its age well, with clear signs this was carried and picked up in the field. There is a great amount of slogans, signatures and good luck quotes covering the entire flag. The flag produced in an artificial material was never intended to be flown, a true pocket flag! There is no damage and the center section is a separate sewn piece of the flag, finding this in multi piece construction is much more uncommon than others. Overall the flag is still very solid and looks great! This would be the perfect example to frame up and hang in your war room!
