Incredible example of a Waffen-SS overseas cap as worn by an Non Commissioned Officer. This example shows light wear from the period with no holes or damage, the front insignia shows a rare set of totenkopf skull and eagle produced in flatwire, this insignia is period applied and has never been altered in any way. The inside shows the size marking of 55. Typically this insignia is used on Officer caps, but the lack of silver tress indicates this was worn by an NCO. Nothing can be said about this cap short of amazing, you will not find a better example for your collection!
