The reverse has the belt straps still intac, the reverse is maker marked with the code ‘eqr’ for the firm (G. Passier, Hannover), as well as ’42’ for the manufacture year of 1942, there is also the Waffenamt acceptance stamp. The MG34/MG42 pouch is constructed of black leather and also has all the stitching tight and intact. The pouches leather is very supple and has no damage or repairs, all of the aluminum rivets are still intact (often missing). The reverse shows the equipment ring as well as the 2 intact belt straps.
