Description
Nice example of an untouched Luftwaffe 2nd pattern dagger ‘Fliegeroffizierdolch’ by Waffenfabrik Max Weyersberg, Solingen. Still has the often missing blued finish on the scabbard. The blade on this dagger is overall nice with most of the original cross graining remaining, there are no nicks to the edge, the blade has some dried oil and small gray spots, overall the dagger still display great. The rear is marked with the “WMW Waffen” maker mark. The scabbard has no dents or damage, and the dark orange grip is also undamaged with the original portepee. A truly great example for anyone looking for ta nice one for their display.
