Description
Incredible early example of a Luftwaffe visor worn by Enlisted Men and NCO’s. The cap has yellow piping indicating service in Flight Crew/Paratroops. The inside lining is sized and dated 1938 with the manufacture mark for Kürschner und Mützenmacher, the cap also has the name of the original wearer. Underneath the sweatband shows the date marking as well as the regimental information where this pilot served. The cap is made of high quality wool and shows the original early insignia still attached to the front, other than a few runner marks in the wool on the top of cap, it is perfect. A truly remarkable early period cap with potential to identifying the original soldier who wore it!
