Description
This is a great looking period worn piece. The colors remain as bright and vibrant as they were when this was new. The body of the armband is made of a bright red, high quality wool material, which is clean and still retains nearly all of the original nap. There are some very small areas of tracking as well as some very small moth holes, and a cut from where it was removed from the uniform. The front of the armband is adorned with a ribbed white rayon roundel and a multi-piece black swastika made of a textbook ribbed tape material. The white roundel shows virtually no age toning and all the parts are skillfully assembled with factory style straight machine stitching. The long edges are finished with factory machine stitching, and the short edges show thread from it being attached to a uniform. The inside shows the original RZM paper tag still attached as well. This wool NSDAP Armband has great look!
