Description
This fantastic set of awards was found years back together by Bill Shea of the Ruptured Duck. Unfortunately the Luftwaffe pilots name was lost to time after he sold it, but all the awards were from one man, a “grouping” if you would. This set has a little bit of everything including a few rarities. This medal group consists of….
- Early Afrika Campaign Medal
- Iron Cross 2nd Class (EK2)
- Piece of his Luftwaffe Dagger Hanger
- Recon Flight Clasp in Bronze
- Iron Cross 1st Class (EK1)
- Gold DRL Badge
- Uncommon Black Wound Badge by “126” Eduard Hahn, Oberstein/Nahe
- Class C Enamel DLV Glider Proficiency Button Hole Badge
- Uniform Removed Class C Bullion DLV Glider Proficiency Badge
- Beautiful Luftwaffe Pilots Badge in Bullion
- Amazing Early Luftwaffe Pilots badge in tomback by B&NL (Berg & Nolte in Lüdenscheid)
- Period Stickpin with EK1, EK2, Black Wound Badge
- Photo of the pilot these were awarded to during his Officer Commission. Wearing the uniform removed bullion DLV Glider patch.
All of these items are in amazing, matching patina type condition. There is no damage or repairs to any of the awards, if they were all separated they would get my asking price, I do not want to be the one who separates this grouping that has made it together since the war so they will remain together. A truly hard to find set of Third Reich awards that were all issued and worn by the same man!
